I know there will be a Halo 5 game released all by itself but will the multiplayer be added on to MCC? Kinda like how ODST multiplayer was tied in with Halo 3’s multiplayer. Not sure how it would work out but it would definitely keep MCC population up longer if people still see it. Not to mention having all the multiplayer stuff in one place.
A large percentage of the Halo community plays the games solely for the multiplayer experience. If 343i were to put Halo 5 multiplayer into the MCC, there would be no reason for many people to purchase Halo 5. Not to mention that putting a brand new game’s multiplayer into an older game makes no sense whatsoever.

People would still have to pay for Halo 5’s maps and content, so I don’t understand why buying is an issue. Its not like people would get it for free. Also the “its an old game” doesn’t really hold much since the “old game” would only be a year old.
I can definitely see that working with the digital version as it could work as an add-on. It’d be convenient to have just one UI for all Halo games.

I thought you wanted 343i to include Halo 5 multiplayer for free with the MCC.

My thoughts the same, a unified UI every Halo game is pretty convenient, but I am unsure if 343i feels it really necessary to add it into Halo MCC. Something could go wrong and the whole DLC could be unplayable if an error occurs, so it might be safer if they release it as a separate disc.
