I would like to say that Halo 4’s campaign was great, a little short but great and I cant wait to see what we get next. Now with ideas about and 343i possibly looking at these forms for ideas in the next game, I believe we are being heard though not being given the attention like Bungie did. Current ideas people have had though I havent read any ideas thus far on what people would like in Halo 5, 6’s campaign.
NOTE: More of these posts are going to be present later on but broken up into different posts regarding each thing such as MM, Customs, and so on.
For some of the ideas I believe 343i should add back in the skulls into campaign, rather than giving us them from the start, everyone enjoyed finding them and they rewarded us with some interesting things whenever we activated them along with achievements. The skulls themselves even unlocked armor pieces for us with was another thing I liked about it.
Another would be the terminals that explained the forerunners, even though Halo 4 told us a little more I think it would be of interest to read up more about them like we were able to in Halo 3. So even though Halo 4 had the terminals I think they should also provide that if you wait long enough while looking at a terminal it would flash red and move again to another part of the terminal with more stored data to read up on, like in Halo 3 did.
Even though everyone liked the Hayabusa armor in Halo 3, it was an interesting thing they did that allowed us to find it by jumping through the Holo Halo Rings on that one mission when the flood joined you to stop the Convanant from activating the Halo Rings. If the hackers didnt find it by doing that we still wouldnt have figured it out. I think that they should do something like that again and by completing it you get a new armor piece that would match with the corresponding armor pieces that are possibly unlocked by getting the and finding the skulls.
Also we cant forget the Arbitor, I think him and the Chief should make a return to kick -Yoink- once more but this time more Covanent and Spartans to join you in the fight, but before you start the campaign any other players could choose which species they wanted to be rather than having preset species whenever you go into campaign with 4 players. So you might have one player being Chief, another being the Arbitor while the other two player could be one Spartan and one Elite, or both could be spartans or elites.

Maybe Their should be a ancient human who uses spartan like armor but instead is called a Trogan, he could be from a forgotten human planet unknown to the UNSC. He had a friend who was a scientist who found a cure for the flood infection but it was too late because the halo rings were already gonna be fired. So he sent his Trojan friend to the future so his cure could be remade and further mas produced. This Trojan should have the power of teleporting by using one of his armor abilities this power could help chief open doors from the inside. He also has to find Halsey and give her the cure. He than realizes that he could save the future by going into the past and making sure the flood never appeared. The master chief realizes it could save humanity but it would prevent him from meeting any of his friends and cause some people to never be born. The chiefs stops him and tells him to join him but, The Trogan decides to be the protector of time.
-this could finally get rid of the flood once in for all and help move forward to the precursor story line
- this could be used in a halo 4.5

I like the effort of your idea, but going back in time with this cure to make sure that the flood doesn’t destroy humanity or anything in it’s path is a little off beat. If what you said actually happened then there would hardly be a Halo 1 without the flood or a Halo 2 & Halo 3. This cure would mess up the story line of the preveous Halo games causing a massive story shift, space and time could possible fold in on it’s self causing some kind of a alternat universe in which the Master Chief does completley different things, & cause the Halo games on my shelf to disappear or turn into different Halo titles because your cure worked hahaha…
