Halo 5 46 Gb patch?

So recently I saw that Halo 5 has a launch size of 46 Gb so my question is if I bought a disc do I have to download that? I know the 9gb patch is mandatory.

Yep, all Xbox One games require you to install the game from disc first before playing. You should be able to get the 9gb patch tomorrow

Ok cool how long do you think that would take for a large installation such as that if I don’t do anything on my xbox

No long I don’t think, 15 or 20 minutes maybe? Start the install and go make some food or watch a movie, should be done by the time you’re finished :slight_smile:

If you’re installing from disk it’ll be even shorter. Can always put your console offline and run the disk install, then put it back online for the patch tomorrow

Only one 9gb day one patch as far as I know unless something happened without me knowing

You install the game which is 46gb, then download the 9gb patch (theres only 1 patch on day 1) and you should be good to go.
