Some players received 343i weapon skins in the HCS packs; it was an unintended glitch

The term âawardedâ insinuates that it was a promotion. Also for the fact that they have an exact number of what they gave out. If it was a glitch then more people would have accidentally received it, including myself.
It also says nowhere that is was a glitch.

It was a glitch, not a promotion or something awarded to certain people. It was absolutely not intended.
343 has access to data such as who has unlocked which REQs so them knowing how many were handed out is not surprising. In fact, Iâd be more surprised if they DIDNâT know this information. How else do you think they knew how few Legendary REQs had been unlocked shortly after launch?
