What’s your thoughts on this? Better or worse compared to 4’s UI.
Halo 4’s IU is bad and it should feel bad. They added all kinds of crap to the the game save for the one area where it mattered, the Carnage Report. Anything is better than its current style
Saw this a couple weeks ago. Truly amazing what people outside of 343 can contribute to the game.
Nah, I like halo 4 the way it is now. Pretty sure someone was bored so they made this up
I think they’re all better than Halo 4’s UI where layout is concerned, but I really like the style of Halo 4’s menus. It’s basically a huge visual upgrade on the traditional blue menus in Halo PC, 3, and so on.
I agree those fan created images are way better, but its one thing to Photoshop something then to script a whole UI and all of its features.
Yeah the UI is terrible. They wanted to have this minimalist UI, but all it did is force you to navigate through at least 3 layers of BS to get to what you actually wanted to do or see.

But…that’s their job. Making these Photoshopped images a reality should not be a problem for them.

You may be missing the point, though.
The layout is much better from a user point of view (well, mine anyway). Scripting is another issue.
Removing the layers so info is easily seen and accessed looks far better than the pretty, but complex, Halo 4 UI
I prefer clean, uncluttered UI’s with priority info ready, without having to dig to deep. Some UI’s just get in the way.
Others will disagree, I’m sure.
