Wondering why the scores are going up so high during the First Look trailer? Wondering what those numbers were under the medals?
Looks like rather than just giving you one point for kills, you get points based on medals.
@ the 1:51 mark a Blue engages Red. Note the score of Blue: 380. Note the medals: One for a headshot and one for an assist, erronously given I think, and note the numbers under each: 5 for a total of 10. Now note the new score: 390.
It’s based on a Call of Duty style system. Basically the score isn’t measure by “kills” rather “points” earned from medals and style kills etc. If you watch it in slow motion, you can see that when the medals are given, the score goes up by more than 1. Link to reference

It’s interesting to see that not all kills equal the same amount of points.
I really hope this doesn’t make it into the final version of the game. It sounds really pointless to me and I don’t even need to have played the game to say that. It’s just stupid to reward players for doing things other than completing the game’s objective.
The point of Team Slayer is to get kills. Why reward different types of kills more than others? It just doesn’t make sense.
