Halo 4’s daily peak population is 25 to 30k I’m pretty aure thats not really it because in halo 3 and reach. It showed the population for all the people on halo but if.It still showed like that it would probably be 50 to 60k maybe 70.But Anyways the population in January for halo 4 was 160k for good bit then slowly went down because 343i.Wouldn’t add any playlist didn’t nerf or buff any weapons.Didn’t come out with a title update.WHICH EVERYONE INCLUDING MYSELF WAS WATING FOR ON JANUARY. They took out team slayer pro and they didnt even have team doubles at the start of the game or any good playlist for that mattter.I also hate ordinance and why would they put two rifles in the game. Also PUT LOADOUTS IN THE GAME STICK WITH TRADTIONAL HALO -Yoinks!-.

My opinion is that the ultra-bad network issues that plagued this game in the beginning (and to a certain extent, currently) turned most people away.

Had the game worked properly upon release, it would have retained a much healthier population.

Halo 4’s population has been around the 30k mark for sometime now. Even when the daily population dips into the 20’s it normally gets back to the low 30’s within the next day or so. Perhaps the population decline is finally starting to level out?

I was hoping that the implementation of CSR would have had a lager effect in bringing people back to the game but thus far it hasn’t. It’s not like it wasn’t advertised. Besides a notification coming up on the title screen in game and in waypoint, Microsoft also put a message about it up on the dashboard as well.

I’ve played Halo 3 and Reach almost every day. Reach used to be worse, around 9-10,000 players a day. Then the game slowly regained popularity, playlists were rotated, issues were addressed, anniversary came out, and bam the population soared 100,000 plus a day. It’s the same pattern for Halo 4 and I think we’ll see it soar again.

There’s already a big thread about Halo’s population. You shouldn’t base your own view whether the game is good or not soley based on how many people play it.

Oh no! Halo 4 has a low population! What will happen? Nothing really, people that leave just want to play another game, are tired of the game, are busy with other things, etc.

Population is one thing I agree but take a second and look at my good friend , Halo 3, quite close to 0(not really) if you ask me, yet I can get games everyday without a problem, same with Reach and Halo 4.

And before you bring the whole ‘‘Halo 2/Halo 3 had higher populations than Halo 4 in it’s first 6 months!’’ , let me clarify something,Halo 2 didn’t have much competition, it was pretty much THE ULTIMATE XBOX of it’s time, Halo 3 had a little bit of competition, Reach had more and Halo 4 got the short end of the stick.

Funny how Gears of War Judgement is sitting in #12 for most played Xbox 360 game yet their community isn’t crying about it, I know, Halo used(and still is in some way) king of Xbox, but things will change, and if you are a true dedicated Halo fan,you will stay with Halo 4 or any Halo for matter and not do what the ‘‘True Fans’’ like to do:’‘HALO 4 SUCKS, 343 SUCKS, GONNA PLAY BLACK OPS 2 FOREVER!’’

Here is a small list of Halo 4’s Competition:
1:Halo 3/Halo 3 ODST
2:Halo Reach/Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary
3:Halo Wars
4:Call Of Duty 4 Modern Warfare
5:Call Of Duty World At War
6:Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2
7:Call Of Duty Black Ops
8:Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3
9:Call Of Duty Black Ops 2
10:Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition
11:Gears Of War 1
12:Gears Of War 2
13:Gears Of War 3
14:Gears Of War Judgement
15:Battlefield 3
and many, many more…

TLDR: As long as you can get a game, don’t worry be happy.
