This is a video I made about a week after Halo 4 was released to explore what Spartans look like with their weapons lowered. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look good at all. After you lower your weapon and your Spartan’s legs move, the weapon comes back up automatically, making it difficult for machinimators to use this game effectively.
I think Halo 4 uses a completely different system for character movement. I noticed this with the weaponless glitch/turret glitch. In Reach, it gave your character the pose they hold with the energy sword, sans the sword. In Halo 4, it makes your character hold an invisible gun while sliding on the floor motionless. This is about 90 times more hilarious though.
> Wow, that is bad…

I once did the weaponless glitch in a custom game, then invited my friend to the game. As soon as he joined I ran (well, slid, technically) over to him and spun in a circle. He just sat there for a moment, then shrieked and left the game.
