I thought Halo 4 was solid. But about less than 1,000 people play. I can barely get into games. It’s fun when I do though. I’m SR115, want to get to 130.
Any info on the low numbers? Reach has a good 5,000 player average about.
In Europe, in the country where I live, is right now 6.am.waypoint tells me, there are 720 players in total. In the evening time, when for me is the best time to play there is some times less then 200 players in total.

Halo 4 as a standalone game has plummeted in players since the release of The MCC. If you want to play Halo 4 multiplayer, just play it on The MCC. If youre looking to max out your SR in Halo 4, I recommend using all the Waypoint XP codes
Halo 4s player base is just low because it’s one of the lesser liked halo games by the community

I’ve used all of them when the game came out. Unless there are more??
Probably the only way to get good games going is to party up. Also I’m sure a lot of people are just hunting down the “impossible to get without boosting” achievements
Definitely because it’s less popular than the other games. Lots of reasons for this, but that’s not the topic. Best way to gain XP is to play Spartan Ops in matchmaking. It might get repetitive though since there are like 2 episodes with people searching for matches. BTB is quite populated too and gives you a decent amount of XP. These are valid as of late last year, so I can’t say if that’s the case right now.
I’ve noticed how low halo 4s player count is. It’s still got a fairly good player count considering how old it is but I never see how big it is during some parts of the day as I’m at school also to add I live in New Zealand. It is fast to find a game in halo 4 than in halo reach it take 5 minutes at lest to find a game in halo 4 but in halo reach it takes me 15 odd minutes. But probably why it’s count is low is due to mcc, halo 5 and halo wars 2.
I can still find games but not easy at all. It took me half and hour to find a game of Team Objective
