I don’t know how many know or do not know, but apparently X is going to be the button to throw grenades on probably the best button layout. Big disadvantage, don’t you think? I’ve only been checking around for Halo 4 news here and there, and I haven’t been too engrossed in trying to find out what’s new or going to be implemented into the game. But, this one detail has kind of bugged me.
I tried to play on Bumper Jumped several times when I started playing Halo and could never quite grasp it. Finally, when I got used to it, I loved it. But now, I feel like 343 is taking away from that button layout by switching the convenience of using armor abilities and grenades. Honestly, as someone who never uses jetpack, X currently being the armor ability button does not concern me one bit. I don’t see why it should change.
343 said they would listen to the fans and see what they think before finalizing the game. Let’s just hope they do ._.
