Halo 4ever...

Its a done deal. People are not coming back to H4. Infinity slayer is insanely frustrating. BTB is ruined by PP and PGs. Objective playlists are the best thing about H4 but I still hate running into crutch AAs(camo,jetpack). Ripping COD perks seem to be the only “new” feature that doesnt annoy people.

I just want to know the direction of Halo MP. I dont even know what Halo 4 is trying to be.

I feel Halo 4 can be great but only if 343 embraces traditional Halo when adding these new features. Infinty Slayer/BTB for example shouldnt have Custom Loadouts. They should have forced loadouts with various perk combinations. POD powerups, power weapons and AAs on maps. Custom loadouts allow camping with AAs, kills vehicle combat with plasmas, among other annoying playstyles. New features can be added to the sandbox but only with traditional Halo in mind. That means fighting for everything, fighting to keep it, and no hand outs(AAs).

My dream is a total restructuring of Halo 4 using tools within Halo 4. I know it wont happen but its the only thing that will “save” Halo 4. And please dont give me that " adapt or leave" bull. AAs,perks, PODs, can all stay but they need to be implemented properly.

Are fine and proper. They can stay as is and will do. Hopefully, return in future Halos too.

I don’t agree with your either or options, just as many have posted.

what 343i has been trying to do is fine.Have different settings and options for different play lists and game modes. There must, IMO, remain Infinity Slayer and BTIS as those who actually play it day in and day out and, those two lists in particular, having been ranked 1 and 2 in terms of daily population since launch day up until this very post, are fine as is. Just as there is now classic/traditional/whatever VTF and also Infinity CTF, as examples, so should there be classic/traditional/whatever Slayer and Big Team along side the current versions, Infinity Slayer and BTIS.

That is the way forward, in my view.
