HALO 4 +

My thoughts:

Halo 4:

I’m pretty excited for this new game. If I could give some constructive critisium it would be for the hardcore, no level cap. For the legit, no boosting, for the competeion random shuffle on map select no veto or vote this only takes more time, also a massive map shipping to bypass all this season pass piece of game nonsense I respect the artists and they can respect this too.

Halo: Reach:

I really like reach the maps expesially invasion game types there the armor abilites seemed more useful and well placed, would have been nice also to seem console compete to match on par with the PC’s for multiplayer in terms of numbers.

Armory was sweet really cool, I hope that their may be some sort of system like this to enchance perhaps the longevity and fun of multiplayer, other than that keep up the good work.

Halo 3:
Campaign was the only thing I liked…

OSDT:
Was so cool, love the narrative and story telling.

Halo Wars:
Ready for the sequel.

Halo:CE:
Played it a bit, didn’t really have a Xbox when it shipped. I was on Gamecube :stuck_out_tongue:

Soundtrack:

Favorite one so far has to be the feel of OSDT, the guitar of Halo 3/Halo 2, and the orcastral of Halo: Reach.

Custom playlist:
Are cool and fun such as the MLG, for comp, and Griff ball but they shouldn’t define it.

The books are Great!
I have flood, and ghost of onyx, I was really hoping to see that movie come together…
Halo Legends was awesome.

Halo & FPS’s on PC’s/ MAC’s:

Why I don’t play on the PC FPS’s? because simply there arm too many people who, mod, hack, glitch, modify, boost and to me using a joy stick takes more precsion and memory than that of a mouse click.

Halo 2:
Probably My fav.

For what its worth.

I would like to hear others thoughts as well for this for the enjoyment of all of us after all.

Modding isn’t all ways a bad thing. As long as it isn’t gear toward cheating. Hacking is just a pain in the butt in MP, and ruins the game. Glitching is in all games, same with boosting, glitching is fun, as long as it along the same lines of modding and isn’t in match making. Boosting like I said is in all games on every platform, it’s a part of gaming, and people who boost are low lifes. Joysticks don’t really take precsion, unless you have the right game controller. But most PC games these days are starting to support both the keyboard and mouse combo as well as the game controllers. Why? because both the PS and the Xbox use controllers with USB plugs. Also game controllers don’t take more memory, most Xbox games don’t have customization controls, where as PCs, most PC games, if not all, you can customize the whole keyboard so every key has it’s own binding, which in my mind takes more memory because unlike trying to remember which of the 14 buttons of a your controller, you have at lest 40 keys.

I’m sorry but any of the other tech, mention above other than skill is cheating. My opinion.

please dont bump posts.

Anyways, level caps are necessary to keep from boosting. Theres no other way to stop that.

Too many people would quit games if the game type/map sucked. Its really quite childish and impatient to have a problem with voting on games that take less than 2 minutes.

Halo 4 can not be on anything besides the 360, ESPECIALLY mac computers. Completely different company. Halo is a 360 only title. Theres a strong reason for that. If you need explaining, you are more arrogant than i thought.

And Halo 3 ODST is not OSDT. Get it strait.

After reading your post again, you seem like a troll. Why do i even bother anymore =/

Sorry but the Hardcore don’t need to boost, I don’t know if you knew that.

> Sorry but the Hardcore don’t need to boost, I don’t know if you knew that.

Who cares if the “hardcore” dont boost. Sorry to break it to you but most of the halo community these days are casual. Casuals boost. and not all “hardcore” players play fair ether.

Yea OSDT was my fav too. Orbital Shocker Drop Troopers are the bomb.

Simply making a game, handicap to a certain audience its marketing, its sad.
:frowning:

> I’m sorry but any of the other tech, mention above other than skill is cheating. My opinion.

Most people think along the same lines as you, and it’s really stupid, and a shame, cause I’ve made some mods for Halo PC that was mostly geared toward changing the textures in the game, tell me, can you honestly say that’s cheating? All I did was change the textures, which means I changed something that dealt with graphics, not game play.

Anything other THAN playing the game is cheating, if you made something. Has nothing to do with the game. FACT.

> Anything other playing the game is cheating, if you made something. Has nothing to do with the game. FACT.

No, that is not cheating.
Cheating: Cheating refers to the breaking of rules to gain advantage in a competitive situation.

Doing stuff other than playing the game is not cheating, if it was, then 343i wouldn’t be so eager to support people who make those cool maps, and screen shots, or people who do machinima. Modding shouldn’t be classified as cheating if it’s not trying to gain advantage in a competitive situation. If a mod is made to change the models, textures, or sounds isn’t cheating because you are not trying to gain advantage over any thing, you’re just trying to make something look better or different.

If you working on art in the game and map creation what does it have to do with competition? If its in real time and you not a game developer working on the game to be finished, playing with people in MP, its cheating. Or you don’t know what your describing and are incapable of comprehension and have no skill, and wasting my time with your nonsense and lies about cheating everyone and yourself.

> If you working on art in the game and map creation what does it have to do with competition?

Map creation does have to do competition. But you’re not getting the point to what I’m saying on why modding isn’t cheating.

YOU LOSE

Dude, you lose, I do know what I’m describing, and I am capable of comprehension and I do have skill. If any one isn’t capable of comprehension of what I’m talking about, it’s you, You keep on saying that modding is cheating no matter what.

Maybe your not cut out for shooters if you have to fall back on means of cheating, hey there’s always paint. Or you could take up knitting…

Tell yourself whatever you want… CHEATER.

Your pretty good at lying to yourself and everyone else.

Sad really. You have my pity. Seriously try knitting, there’s no joke coming…

>

> Cheaters never prosper.

>.> Dude, I don’t cheat, and it pisses me off to no end when people call me a cheater. I’m trying to be nice to you and point out there is a difference between modding for cheating, and not cheating by modding. All I do change the textures in single player games. I have no clue on how you find that cheating, but it’s really stupid of you. Maybe you should pick up a lame thing like knitting, because I’m sticking to shooters because it’s something I’m good at, I can kick any one’s butts with out use of cheating, and I do it all the time. I hate cheating more than most people, because it gives those of us who are honest gamers, bad names.
