You will only get refunded the $50 if it says that they will on the site like mighty apes pre-order for halo 4 LE. however sites that don’t say they will refund the difference if the price drops like best buy will not get the $50 back.
You get refunded 50$ if you have already paid in full, this deal is in stores as well as online.
The Limited Edition Console is on the best sellers list and has brought in enough profit for Microsoft to allow the price to be drop 50$.
It will not expire, unless massive loads of people are to cancel the Console, and I dont see that happening. Hope this helps you out some.
I pre-ordered my Console from BestBuy, but they also have the price reduction.

I was refunded the 50$ on the two consoles I ordered :).

I preorder my Xbox from bestbuy yesterday and it still said 400$ the lady said that if it did drop I should only pay the 350 on launch tho.

Called best buy when I heard this last week. Or earlier this week. She said that if I had paid it in full then she would need my receipt number and other stuff to get refunded $50

Depends, the cost will still be around 400$, but thats just due to shipping and handling. Without the price drop I paid around 448$ for both Consoles, 48$ extra just for shipping, handling. Now the full price has dropped to 398$, soo much better.

Bestbuy sucks then :/, I have mine ordered from Game Stop and it was automatically transferred back to me once the price dropped. Sucks to hear Best Buy is making it more painful, atleast you did not have to go through that then.

I hate to burst bubbles but that still seems expensive. Don’t forget, you have to add state tax to it. Over here in NJ, its 7% and adding that to $350.00 your paying an additional $21.00.
wow im buying now. the price drop makes it even better. was debating now im sold. for the money its worth it cause 250gb is 299 and this is 320gb with two controllers, game and custom paint job.
Yea you will get 54 dollars and some change back, Now you can afford that 60 dollar headset you know you want 
or you could get a -Yoink- wife like mine who gets you the 300 dollar one for your bday 
I only have 200 payed on my Xbox at GameStop. Does that mean I still have to pay 200 more? Or only 150?

I never knew about a price drop. When I put down my ore order the price was $400. Generally the price of something like that doesn’t change before the game comes out, but then again I’ve never purchased a custom console before.
Microsoft probaly felt the RRP was set too high for this Limited Edition console and reduced it as a gift to the fans of Halo 4, since they are the ones purchasing this.
