So I spent the 500 on the Halo 4 Xbox and picked it up two days later from Gamestop, and opening it I set it up and transferred everything and blah blah blah. The Halo 4 remote was perfect, and the Xbox was a great replacement for the 4 GB arcade that I previously had. But when I tried to enter the DLC codes it came with - Fotus Armor/skin and Prop, all of them said they were invalid, and I entered the codes more than once but still they wouldnt work. Both my brother and I are extremely disappointed that we arent able to fully use what we paid nearly $500.00 for, and I would like to know if there is somehow something Im doing wrong or if I need a new code. And if so, how do I get one or who do I get it from? If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.
Yeah I typed the code in several times on different days through the 360 and on the Microsoft website, so I think I got a faulty code (first time ever). Anyone have a code they arent using or dont want to use? Idk maybe I can give my code to someone in exchange and, although I doubt it, they can see if they can get something out of it. As of tomorrow (Saturday the 5th of January) Im going to town with $75 in gift cards, so I can give 1600 or so MS points in return, if that is what it takes. I just want to make sure I get what I paid for.
Have you tried contacting Microsoft/Xbox.com about this? I don’t think there’s anything people on here can do and no one is going to give you a code for the in-game DLC since it’s so rare and valuable.
Only the code didnt work but everything else was fine and package unopened, so I dont think Gamestop had anything to do with it. Maybe Microsoft but I dont think Ill get a working replacement from them either. Has any one else had a code that didnt work before?
