It’s just Microsoft cashing in as much for the xbox 360 as they can before their new console is released. Plus there has been a console made especially for every major Halo title releases since Halo ce. If you wish to buy it do so, if you don’t, it shouldn’t matter to you if you already have an Xbox with enough memory to handle Halo 4.

I bought the Halo Reach LE console and I wont be buying the Halo 4 console. It feels to me like ill need the money for the next gen console.
What’s the point of getting the Halo 4 Console if you already get a Halo: Reach Console or the 250 GB Xbox 360 Slim?

If you believe it’s a waste of money, then don’t buy it, let those of us who want it, buy it.
I see your point. But if someone wants it, let them get it, it’s their money.
I personally wouldn’t get it because of it’s price but if it was around the $200.00 range I would totally consider it.
I still have my Xbox 360 Elite with about 70gb left and it works just fine. The Halo 4 Limited Edition is enough for me personally.

same exact situation I would rather save money for the 720

If you’re still packing a 20 or 60 GB hard drive then it’s definitely time to upgrade, regardless of the next Xbox. Halo 4 console is as good an alternative as any.
At first i thought it looked really cool but… its slowly startign to look a little tacky for my tastes. I allready have the reachbox so im all good. Just throw me a UNSC controller and a LE halo 4 game and im good. (maybe the Headset too if it isnt toooooo expensive)
My Xbox is dead. I see it as something convenient.
I really don’t see the point in buying a new console with the EXACT same hardware as my current one.
When a new iPhone comes out, it offers tonnes of new features but all Xbox 360’s are the same.

Honestly, this.
While I am not buying the Halo 4 console, is it really necessary to go out and say that other people are wasting their money or making a bad choice by buying it? Let people be happy and do whatever they want, really.
It’s only 400 American dollars over here, but where or not it is worth it depends on your situation, OP. Halo 4 is going to require A LOT of memory. 8GB is just for the MM and the first season of Spartan-Ops, not even including downloading the game to your hard drive to make it run smoother. If you have the memory then the Halo 4 console bundle may not be worth it to you.
I personally like the way it looks. Blue is my favorite color so seeing blue lights on the console and controller is super tempting to me…if only I was so broke.
I need new controllers, hard drive space and the game, doesn’t sound like a waste to me.

Well, you said it exactly. It’s good for collectors and those who may have not bought a 360 yet or wish to replace their old one. I myself am an avid collector of Halo so I’ll probably be getting the bundle (assuming I have the necessary funds, :D).

I am a bit hestitate to run out and buy the next gen Xbox because of all the grief I experienced with the 360 upon launch. I wll buy it when the next numbered Halo game comes out on it but before then I will happily buy and keep playing this exclusive console.
