Cool. I already was planning on paying the $400 (pre-ordered already and everything), but, awesome. Lower price is always better.
They’ll probably do the same price drop with the vanguard that no one wants to buy.

That price definitely needs to drop. It’s an extra $100 just for the Halo 4 skin.

Better than the deal I got with my Reach console, though I definitely prefer it’s look to Halo 4’s Xbox.

You put $50 down on a pre-order for the console. That comes off the price on pickup. On Nov. 6, before this price change, I would have paid $350 (ignoring tax, rounding), since the $50 I put down for the pre-order is taken from the price.
With this change, take the $50 from the new price. $300 is what you’ll pay at launch. (That’s assuming they still require $50 down on a pre-order)

Right. If you paid all $400 when you pre-ordered the console (which is an option), you do have a reason to go to Gamestop and get the $50 from the price reduction back, though.
Im calling mi preorder store for a price check now.
I would love it if you could actually customize your order, as in removing the Halo 4 standard edition, the controllers, maybe even the harddrive as all I actually need is the xbox itself and the digital content of course.
