-There was no sprint
-There were no custom loadouts
-There was no ordnance
-There was lunge when beat-downing
-Less matchmaking forge maps (were only good in Halo 3 because they looked pleasant, they’re ugly in H4)
-More visible medals, with their visible colors, such as yellow for double kill, and blue for triple kill.
-There was no +10 when you kill, because that really makes it look less classy, and more like COD
-Overshield that was a simple walk-through, without needing to press x on some weird ordnance stand.
-Camo being a walk-through, and not an armor ability. Remember how fun the camo was in Halo 1-3? Jesus.
-…and probably a few more
I guarantee if this game had been released following the things mentioned above, the population would be huge right now.
(Specifically the top three or four). Perhaps if they had a beta, fans would’ve told 343, and the game would have been amazing right now.
No matter what people say, that’s what made people love Halo, that’s what made people stick with it. Without it, it just feels weird.

There is lunge, I’d take forge maps over the current vanilla ones, and the rest is just nitpicking things that don’t even matter.
Can I just clarify one thing?
You say Halo would’ve been better with out some things in the game but some of them was in Reach (some tweaked a little) yet you state Halo 4 would be better with out them when I find Reach and 4 are ok with them.
It really does seem as you’re picking at 343 as even the score system is better now as you can tell how much better players are in objective types as ITS NOT ALL ABOUT K/D

Top three are the ones that matter the most. The others are personal preference. Unusual how you fail to mention anything about the top three, but start bashing me because I don’t want +10 to appear when I kill someone.

I’m not saying Halo 4 isn’t okay the way it is, I’m just saying Halo 4 would have been much better if these things were implemented. And also, Reach felt much more like Halo than Halo 4, even though it is guilty of a few things like active camo as an armor ability.
