Including reach. If you guys dont do something meaningful for actual halo players in the next two update Im selling my copy and going back to halo 3. Its a shame to see the series go down like this after a decade of great memories.
thats your opinion. and thats fine. my opinion is that the game is quite enjoyable. and the only thing i dislike is the lag compensation.
enjoy getting less than half of your money back.
I want to like it. I guess I do. But, I feel underwhelmed at the end of the night.

HAHAHA, wow, halo 2 was actually the best multiplayer. Yes 3 and reach sucked balls, but 4 happens to be the 3rd best in the series behind ce and 2.

Halo 4 has some small and big flaws but I still think it’s great. 343 is going to release some patches (at least they said they would) and fix those problems and then Halo 4 will be the best (I hope).
But there is no way I am going back to laggy Halo 3 with slow gameplay.

You know what makes me not want to play Halo and be a part of it’s community, people that say crap like that.

When Halo 2 came out, people who had been playing CE called it an affront to the series.
They complained about the weapons, they complained about all gameplay changes, they complained about all the new complicated features, they complained about the new maps.
In fact, the only thing more consistant from Halo title to Halo title than the gameplay (which has changed ridiculously little from the beginning) is the complaining by players about the few minor changes made in the most recent title.

I’m inclined to agree with OP, the reason Halo was so successful was because it differed from other games. Everyone started on even ground and the game mechanics meant that skill trumped everything else when it came to success.
Now that it’s trying to butt into the Battlefield/CoD philosophy of loadouts and stuff as a newcomer it’s failing pretty badly.
the fact that a 5 year old game has close to a brand new halo is saying that people aren’t liking this game. you all keep saying that this is the best halo but fact is the numbers don’t support it

Halo 3 was made 5 years ago. Halo 4 was made this year. The fact that Halo 4 isn’t blowing it out of the water in multiplayer numbers is pathetic. Pulling the “Well that’s your/their/my/his/ opinion” card is childish.
