Rehashing the same thing over and over again is starting to affect the series. There are more variables to consider but if it keeps doing this non innovative yearly release, it’s going to go the way of guitar hero.

Uh… not exactly. We still have the CoD fanbase to put up with, and everybody knows how that’s going to go.
I’m quite sure halo 4 isn’t “COD”.
Think of it when does COD change from the same run and gun game?
Modern warfare 2 and Modern warfare 3 or should I say 2.1 what’s the difference other than new perks, new maps, a few new guns, and new game modes.
Halo 4 has many changes that I for one can’t say I like all of them but they are interesting and it will be interesting seeing how it works in gameplay against others.
Kill times are waaaaay different in Halo than COD games, and plus Halo 4 has not confirmed any kill streaks as of yet!
