Hi I was just wondering, if I buy Halo 4 Limited Edition in this website (Mighty Ape.co.nz) will the code work for Raptor in game Armor Skin, Locus Helmet and Assassin Multiplayer Emblem in the United State because I live in new york and the website is in New Zealand?
I wouldn’t see why not…I am not an expert but it doesn’t seem to be a regional thing. Looks as though it is regional.
I was interested in preordering from mighty ape so i emailed them and they said the codes and some online features of the game would not work outside of AU and NZ.

Everyone needs to realise that pretty much everything electronic from TVs to DVDs are all different depending on the country (though there are some that use the same format for TVs etc…) So of course there are going to be items that you order from a NZ store that won’t work in some countries such as the codes because they are NZ codes. The same is for Sony which have region specific codes.
That being said I do think it is stupid that there is region specifc hardware and games but hopefully soon there will be universal electronics.

The only way to get it to work for you, is to make a fake NZ account, and then use the code with that. Once it’s downloaded to your Xbox, it should work for every account on the console.

Hmm not fair I think you have experienced what it is like to live in NZ while the US gets all that awesome stuff the years before I am am really glad that NZ has this for once finally I can get a bonus.
no it’s region specific it won’t work unless you have a pal xbx considering your from usa you’ve most likely got an ntsc console
Do u think they could give us a USA CODE AND Change the NZ code
Usually stuff is regional.
we all don know yet because i contest them and they told me that it depend on Microsoft if they are willing to do that and also this is what they told me so they don know yet maybe later on in the future.

We are still waiting on confirmation from Microsoft in regards to the codes working out of New Zealand but for the game… Our edition is PAL and your Xbox’s are only meant to read NTSC sadly.

Mightyape is a New Zealand and they also have an Australian Website. They have really good bonuses so thats why people from the USA are getting them. I am getting it from Mightyape Australia because I live in Australia.
I tested it out already, the only things that seems to be regional are the mc points and maybe the membership
