I personally am loving halo 4, campaign was awsome, spartan ops is fun, and cutscenes and xp make it rewarding (although playing on the same map types over and over is boring) but hey you have to cut them some slack as it’s a first attempt and for the most part nailed it, especially with not having as much room to put detail into spartan ops. I also love the multiplayer im currently level 119 and cannot understand why so many people are deaming the multiplayer unrewarding with it’s ranking system. I think that alot of people have read or heard lots of negative things about halo 4 and begin to believe them (power of suggestion ) i mean if someone says something is terrible you’re likely hood of you also having negative felllings is higher than keeping an open mind. it’s very sad to see a really great game get so much hate , i think it’s also due to bungie not taking part in the game and people think that the new company will blatanly ruin the game and i feel that it’s had a huge affect as 343 trys to evolve halo to be greater than before and still keep that “yup this is still halo” feeling which is what i personally get from the game. But hey that’s what i think, what do you think?

I don’t like this game because I have the ability to think independently, I remember when halo routinely had 700,000 + online, look at it now. The masses have spoken and halo 4 is a fail.
I hate it because im sick and tired of the fps genre becoming homogenized and stagnate. I am sick of poor map design, i am sick of gimmicks thrown at me. I am sick of ordanance instant spawns, lack of communication by 343. Lack of a competitive playlist and ranks. Lack of arena shooter, it is classed based and the person who has played the most and longest is automatically at an advantage.
Because most of us can put our Halo fanboyism aside and realize the multiplayer in this game is complete trash. Halo 3 at its peak was just as popular as Call of Duty has ever been. Halo 4 can barely draw 100k. This is not a good game period.
I’m still trying to understand how the last two halo games have not played like halo, they both failed. Who is in charge at 343 and why do they still have a job?

Yes it is spoon fed, you are allowed to spawn with anything you want to handle any situation. You dont even need to know the map to get power weapons, you either can call in one at your feet or there is a giant icon proclaiming this is were it is come and get it. You are not punished for getting killed you can literally get a kill die and get another kill and still get a double kill. Not only that but you can even spawn right near the guy who just killed you and finish up the kill you couldnt before.
No i will not go to cod fps’s are dead to me. Arena style shooters are dead, it is now the instant gratification pick up and play shooters that are being made.

That really says it all. 7 mil bought this game and only 100k still play. No one can defend that without coming off as a complete fool. Everybody gave this game a chance and nobody liked it.
I just tryed to play 1 game of Halo 4 with a friend and JIP puts me in a game thats 8v6 and 800 to 50. I HATE THIS GAME.
Look at Halo 4. Now back to Halo 3. Now back to me. What do you see?
File browser? Theater? Custom games? Assault? Races? Stockpile? Headhunter? 1-Flag CTF? Firefight? Team Doubles? Infection? Multi Team? Team Snipers? FFA? Juggernaut? Options?
We’re not even talking about gameplay or balancing yet, and how much content has been removed? Just look at the playlist options, and you will see we barely have 6 playlists…

They took out all the good stuff and replaced it with dumb -Yoink-
I don’t like it because it is pitiful compared to the original trilogy. Assuming that most people who don’t like halo 4 liked halo reach is also wrong. If you don’t see why people don’t like halo 4, then you obviously have not been on the forums for very long. I’d be happy to argue against almost any change that was made in halo 4/reach if you like.

They didn’t even replace it. They took stuff out and added nothing. This game literally has no content.
Why the hate? Because its agonizingly close to greatness, let down by some awful awful decisions by 343i.
Should we remove Assault? Yep.
How about we change CTF completely and don’t allow them to play the classic mode? Yep lets do that too.
Should we test Forge? Nah, just ship it.
And on and on and on.
Things like this have pulled Halo 4 down from greatness to ok-ishness.

Different opinions. I also like Halo 4, I don’t think that it’s the best out there, but it’s a good game, and the things that the majority say that are “the fail of this game” (DMR, Boltshot, AA) just need to be fixed and the game would be more awesome, but those aren’t BAD FOR THIS GAME TO FAIL, BWAGAHAHAGAHA.
