Halo 4: Weapons and maps!

Hey everyone, I was just wanting to get a consensus of the weapons we expect to have and the weapons we want in Halo 4 as well as the remake maps we want in Halo 4 as well and possibly forgeworld too.

One of my big things I’d like to see is a more well designed forge world with more than just Forerunner objects, human and covie.

For weapons… All I would want to ask for is the BR, just HAVE it in the game, you can have other weapons that are new but just keep it there as a backup or something.

And as for maps, which is something they could still possibly still make for DLC from our suggestions now, here is a few of my suggestions:

Guardian, Avalanche. That’s my suggestions for now

I would love the ODST pistol to come back as for map i want the pit from halo 3 to be in halo4

I guess it’s logical to assume timeline wise that the BR will be in the game. But I have a feeling it will be tweaked in some annoying way. Still I would like to see some forerunner weapons. Maps wise I’m not too bothered, there will most likely be some new reiteration of Blood Gulch somewhere in there

I would like a human weapon that is like a rocket launcher but it fires rockets which activate halfway through flying, sorta like the Sabre’s missles, but they are really fast and only do this to lock-on targets. Once the missle activates, it cannot change direstion, so if a banshee is locked on, a guy fires and the missle is slow to start with but just getting itself oriented, then it activates and speeds off at the banshee. The banshee sees the rocket and turns left, the missile [hehe] misses. This weapon would be hard to use but due to its incredible speed, it is almost impossible to dodge at close range.

Of course, it wouldnt replace to Rocket Launcher, that would still be in, but it is a similar weapon:

I suppose that could work. Sounds kind of like H3’s Missile Launcher.

I want a Gauss rifle, like Fallout 3’s.
An automatic rifle (like the Assault rifle) with a scope.

A gun that shoots electricity would be cool, and a flamethrower would be cool

As long as they don’t include something like the Covenant “Sniper” Rifle (forgotten its name) from Reach. Something like the Needle Rifle would be interesting though.

Smg is needed, more forerunner or alien weaponry

A variety of new maps would be best. Not as many remakes like Reach had at launch (not saying i didnt like those maps).
A silenced sniper rifle for a campaing mission would be cool. maybe it would exclusive to the campaing. More forerunner weaponry.

Dual Wield must be back! I personally play Halo 3 over Reach for 3 reasons. Map variety, weapon variety, and no AA.

(I did buy the anniversery pack and I must say you did a great job in the detail you put into the maps, they are quite amazing!)

I want to see all new (almost) everything. There needs to be just a lot of new maps and weapons, but it should still play/feel/look like Halo.

I think that they will have remakes,but don’t make them the last resort if other maps suck. New maps should greatly outnumber remakes,just because it would show a lack of creativity…

Weapon wise, I think it would be cool if they added something similar to the player controlled missile found in Call of Duty: Black Ops. The launcher could function as a power and anti vehicle weapon. When it comes to maps, the only thing 343 needs to do is make original spaces. No more copy and pasting from campaign like in Halo: Reach.

a map that would change while your playing on them, example its a space map and out side there’s a space battle happening and mid way threw the game the space station or vessel your on gets hit and rips a hole in the ship/environment exposing the vacuum of space making the battle field or at least a part of it zero g which would work great if they are going to put thrusters into the game like the one on chief in the teaser trailer. Another example is your playing on a map that has some sort of water theme to it and it starts to flood, but not enough to cause any changes to gameplay. maybe a jungle/swamp map something that looks like 343 guilty spark from Halo but it’s at night and it starts to rain and thunder and you can see the rain droplets on you visor and lightning brightens up the map. I would also like to see some form of wildlife in the maps and campaign but they would be timid and not want to go near you.

I think that is a really cool ideia ,person above my coment, I also think in forge in halo 4 you should be able to have unlimited money and items ,and also be able to change the weather(make it rain,snow,wind)you should also be able to alter the landscape ex.(makeing mountains,waterfalls,water features,lava,other kind of trees,plants).They should also incorpate some kind of water vehicals.Also when your using the forge you should be able to sea water coming of objects when you lift them out of the water,and also sea fish and sea creatures swiming in the ocean.It would also be cool if 343 incorpated some kind of campaign mission under water ,some kind of overshild forruner buble keaping the water out and when your going threw the mission u can sea some kind of submarine battle going on between the covenet and the spartains/humans.please reply to my comment.
