Impressive for a game that released in November.

Indeed. Long live Halo!

Yay Halo.

COD also came out in November. Stop using useless facts.

Meh. It’s population has been in a steady decline since release though. I doubt it will be in the Top 5 this year, as MW3 is.

Where is it a “useless fact”. Both games released in November, and placed higher than games that have had months of use, like Mass Effect 3.
However, unlike BLOPS2, Halo 4 has been in a steady decline. I doubt it will make the list for 2013, as MW3 did after over a year of use.

Except CoD has an annoying, increasing 9 year old kid populace. I bet the kids who play this recommend the game like hell. Halo was the game at the time of its release. Kids these days are casuals and they play the biggest game that comes out, because that will give them something to talk about, and they will be “accepted” as a “cool” kid. No one looks at stories and campaign anymore, which Halo was the master at. Today it’s graphics and multiplayer, which every game in the market has now.

Finally. A Bro who ain’t Mad.
What a dumb statistic. Average Unique Users from when the game released to the end of the year? That greatly FAVORS newer games, as the older games have an inevitable drop in population that counts against it. I would probably have done something like “Average Unique Users in the first month after release” and not have included games in December that didn’t get the full month.
Wow. Just wow.
This source obviously lacks major credibility. Think about it, how would a game that was out for less than 2 months be more played in 2012 than a game like halo reach, or mw3, which have been out for over a year? The math doesn’t add up.
Halo 4 hasn’t had enough time to be the most played game. Logic people, logic.

I was about to mention that, plus CoD came out a week later than Halo 4.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II came out in November plus a week later in than Halo 4. Your logic is lacking in logic.

Because AVERAGE. It doesn’t account for actual play time, it accounts for the average population for each game from release or the beginning of the year. So the later released games are highly, highly favored.
