I heared so many things that were suppose to be in halo 4.
-Boats
-hornet
-traditional gameplay
-destroyable environments
-vast costem options and so much more.
I also heard dominion and the mantis were almost cut from the game.
Makes me sad that halo 4 could been something, but of course like any other halo it was rushed because of Microsoft.
Don’t get me wrong I like halo 4 but the stuff they left out could made it better.
Hopefully they will get halo 5 done in time.

Every game has stuff that was cut because they couldn’t fit it in.
But yeah, Halo 4 was definitely a rushed game. 343i has said it was in “Making of” interviews and such.
There’s only so much you can do in a certain amount of development time and a small team, of course now 343 is larger, Halo 4 turned out great imo

They weren’t 300 employees on Day 1. They grew to 300 employees just recently but started with under 12 people before their office was even ready.

That was my first thought. Before halo 4 released, rumors saying we were able to swim in halo 4.
I won’t lose sleep over things like boats not being in the game. What still gets me though is that how can a game like Halo 4 require so much space on HDD and offer so little. I get time constraints and lack of people, but the game shipped with very little, superficial features like destructible enviornments be -Yoink!-.
True, the lack of a UNSC vehicleis disturbing, but Bungie already admitted that a boat simply wouldn’t work, and I don’t think anyone was expecting a destructible environment to begin with. As for the Custom Games, you need to remember that Hallo 4 was rushed, regrettably. And don’t even start on “traditional gameplay,” because people on these forums are still whining about Armor Abilities.
The game’s fine, considering it was made by maybe a dozen people. Quit your -Yoinking!-.
