Halo 4 Warthog from Longbow Gameplay at RTX.

For all those who just watched the RTX gameplay at the Longbow map, the chain gun of the warthog now has a cool down element to the firing. But there was one meter just under the reticle that was filling up as he was firing, indicating that when it filled up it would force you to stop firing. But also at the top right corner next to the picture of the chain gun, there was another meter very slowly filling up.

Was that overall ammo?? I’m glad they added a cool down to that monster. Also i noticed someone pick up a chain gun off the ground after a warthog exploded. I couldn’t tell if it was from the exploded warthog, or if someone had previously dropped a mounted chain gun on the ground. DId anyone else see this, could you tell which one it was?

I do recall seeing a mounted machine gun on the map so it could have been that.

That was an overheat feature, which was also present in Reach. I hated it… but it appears the Warthog can actually be useful this time around.

ONI Sword Base made me ditch the Reach hog. On TotS, I only used the turret on distant enemies. H4 hog sounds like something I’ll want to use again, up close and personal, even if it’s just the turret.
