What does the war games pass do and how do you get it?
If you’re referring to the LE doohickey it provides free access to DLC map packs when they become available.
Presumably purchase of the maps unlocks the Scanner and Strider helmets, but that’s mere speculation on my part.
You’re pretty much pre-ordering the map packs and saving some money. Also the helmets come with it

The Season Pass comes with the LE and not the console but you can buy it separately and it’s still unknown if the Scanner and Strider come with the LE
Like a season pass how gears of war 3 did. Hope the season pass comes with other goodies besides maps though.not just those two helmets
The war games map pass gives you full access to all future content and comes with 2 free helmets. I’m assuming it’ll come out on launch day and it’ll be under Games->subscriptions, where every other passes are, like Gears 3 or Forza 4 season passes. For the LE, you’ll most likely get a code for the pass.
Where did it ever say that the helmets came with the pass? Someone just blurted it out on the forums and everyone went with it.
So you can just get off the dashboard.
