Im curious to see peoples opinion on this. Personally I played Halo 1,2,3 when they came out for 360 and skipped 4 and 5 (just kind of didn’t play video games for a few years). I started playing them now in January and I honestly can’t stand Halo 5. It seems like a failed version of CoD Black Ops 3.
I’ve read that a major complaint people had with 4 is that it introduced sprints, load outs and killstreaks. Meanwhile Halo 5 introduced all these jetpack abilities and its considered one of the best Halos? The maps in 5 are all so bland, literally everything is a square. The maps seem like a half baked effort, none are memorable, and it seems like most were made in forge or something. The game is also alot slower paced than Halo 4 with alot of running around, shooting someone, and having them run away with their jetpacks.
I don’t know what Im missing here but I don’t think Halo 4 is the worst and alot closer to “Halo” than Halo 5.

Well I’m biased since I enjoyed 4 a lot. 4 has some awesome BTB maps and I actually enjoy the gameplay. 5, on the other hand, has really boring maps. Also it didn’t launch with BTB so all the larger maps are forge made. The one thing I’ll give Halo 5 is that it’s more competitive if you stick to Arena. 4 is just more fun though.
i hate both of them halo 4 because of the loadouts and halo 5 because its so competetive
I’d say Halo 5. Love it’s competitiveness. All of that game takes pure skill. U gotta have rly good aim for that game.
