I will buy Both, because Halo 4 will have a nice Storytelling and Spartan Ops, and Black Ops 2 will have like anyway Tons of People which are Playin Multiplayer and the Killstreaks are making me Happy

Not one of these threads, but I’ll voice my opinion… I will be getting both, but I will get Black Op’s 2 used if I like it after renting it because you can’t trust a CoD game or the what the devs say the game will be. Plus Halo 4 isn’t the only game I’m getting this year, Ghost Recon and the new Medal of Honor Warfighter look good too so I’ll be getting them as well.
Black ops 2 will be more popular simply because it has CoD in the title, and it’s easier to play compared to halo. (not bashing, just stating my experience and observation)
I’m looking more forward to halo 4 though. I’m interested to see how these new mechanics incorporated into the game will work, as well as seeing the campaign and story. Day one purchase for sure.
Black ops…I’m more iffy about. I liked the trailer, but for me most CoDs have been nothing more than slapping a fresh coat of paint on the game, and not fixing any of the problems. I like that treyarch is trying to be different, but unless they fix the problems with lag, hit detection, OP weapons, and spawns, which have been in every CoD since MW1, then that’ll probably be a Christmas gift for me.
Both will be popular but I’ll only be buying Halo 4 this winter season. After all, I’ve been waiting for Halo 4 for roughly four years now. I just can’t gather the strength to lock down another $60 on another CoD title when the last “full-fledged” title just came out a few months ago. 
Though I still play tons of CoD 4, my favorite of the series. 
I think Black Ops 2 looks INCREDIBLE.
I will buy and play both these games until my thumbs are worn down to dust.
I am buying both, but hopefully I will prefer Halo 4.
Black Ops 2 story is nice I must say. It is actually amazing with the possibility of playing it RTS style and making your own choices.
I’ll buy both. I’ll play both. I’ll enjoy both for how different they are and I won’t be a fanperson to either of them.

Interesting. Black Ops II won’t “blow me away”, Halo 4 will be doing that. But, I will enjoy Black Ops II. It definitely won’t be fading away though.
It’s just the arrogance with a pinch of ignorance in the air that floats around for a while when a new CoD is announced that just ticks me off.

Agreed those COD Developers are so smug with there out of date game it is not even funny .
I’ll end up getting both. Halo for the multiplayer and campaign. Black Ops for the zombies. Actually, if Blacks Ops doesn’t have zombies I probably wont get it. But, as far as what will be more popular of course its going to be Black Ops. Halo releases on one console. Black Ops will be on PS3, Xbox, and PC. I’m not saying Black Ops will be a better game, just saying it’s gonna sell more.

I couldn’t even take the trailer serious, it seemed interesting but I didn’t know whether to laugh at the old man Woods’ terrible voice actor or feel bad for Treyarch for picking such a bad voice actor…

What do the numbers mean? Quite a lot, if we’re talking about Black Ops II pre-orders. Amazon UK says Treyarch’s near-future shooter has already tripled the number of pre-orders seen for Black Ops in 2010. It seems that a Call of Duty title is yet again going to be the year’s leading release.
“Set to be one of the biggest games of the year, it’s great to see so much enthusiasm and anticipation for Call of Duty: Black Ops II,” said Amazon UK’s Graham Chambers. “Bolder and better than before and with everything from a futuristic storyline through to single player mode, Zombies and multiplayer, Black Ops II promises something Call of Duty fans have never seen before.”
It’s funny that Chambers talks about enthusiasm, because if you believed the comments from the gamer community, this is the most hated and least popular franchise in the world, despite pre-orders and inevitable sales saying otherwise. It seems that, while gaming won’t get its fabled Citizen Kane … we’ve found its Twilight.

And black ops looks great imo.
My friend who declared he’d never buy one again after the disappointment of mw3, he watched the trailer. And after three minutes of silence he finally said: “-Yoink!-, this looks good.”
I already know im buying both. Im not wasting money on cod elite though.

When he said something that we’ve never seen before, he means a new story and new maps. Very little change in multiplayer gameplay. Stop the Yoinking presses.
