After Watching the teaser trailer for Halo 4 I was wondering if the voice for Cortana was still Jen Taylor can any one confirm or deny this? Thank You
I think (and hope) that was her, but i’ve no proof beyond my own ears.
I didn’t think it was her.
However I was told -by someone on the Bungie forums- that is was confirmed to be her. I still haven’t seen a source. So… Your guess is as good as mine.

Cortana sounded a little different maybe because of her early stages of rampancy

Nope Jen Taylor denied the offer to return as CORTANA, because that would just make sense right?
How about a contest to enter where 1 lucky Waypoint user gets to voice a NPC in Halo4? It might help diversify things a bit better than Reach’s “1-guy.” He’s militia, he’s an air-space director and he’s an Army Trooper.

No, she was just highly alarmed.
She’s not going to go rampant at all.
definitely wasn’t her. But I hope they just haven’t hired her yet, since they’d normally start doing the voice acting a bit late into development.
why not hire her yet, if your going to do something like a big reveal for E3, you will want your actual voice actors on hand to do the characters, or people will be confused later when the characters sound different. and also, you hire the actors befre you start production, dont leave it to the last minute. just dont have them come in unless you need them there. also if you start with a storyboard, you then go to basics of writing the story, once you have the story in a relatively linear shape so you know what your going to be making. you can start working on details and then you make the game, once you have the simple annimations down you cant start doing the voices as you have the picture (all-be-it a very simple gray-scale polygon map) that they go for. so now you have the story written and the voices sorted, the art/ait/designers can get to building the engine that you will drive to the destination of awesome sauce and fries!
edit and yes i hope the voicce actors for chief and cortana are the same they have always been. same goes for any other characters that somehow make an appearance.

I’m actually more curious about who will be making “special appearances” like in previous games; e.g. like Nathan Fillion as Gunnery Sergeant Reynolds in H3.
As much as I am looking forward to Halo 4 =) I doubt many voice’s for Main characters, Marines and Elites would remain the same… For example I get a feeling that: John 117 will have a different voice acter, so will Cortana. Gunnery Sarge Pete Stacker wont be in it, and he will be replaced completely. The Australian Marine Chips Dubbo will either not make an appearance or be replaced by another marine just like Pete Stacker. You must remember even though they are not main characters, they still survived the Halo series. Same goes with The Arbiter and Rtas. They will have different voice’s too. It’s just a bad feeling I have =(
