Soo I couldn’t help but notice that when I logged into xbox today I saw the Black Ops 2 tournament going on and being advertised on the dashboard and that leaves me to wonder where H4 and -Yoink!- gaming are. Has anything been planned since the Infinity Challenge? I know there is AGL but with them being a fairly new league i still think they got some ways to go and think -Yoink!- can get more popularity.

Also sundance evidently sat down and talked with -Yoink!- gaming, and well they would not have a sit down if mlg did not want halo 4 on the circuit again.
A sit down doesn’t mean anything. With the current state of H4, I don’t see MLG or -Yoink!- wanting to spend money on it since it most likely wouldn’t pull decent numbers to make a profit. AGL is working with Halo now and that’s fine since it’s a small venue.

I hope so. I hope so. Really though I think they would get more viewers, competitive cod is a failure.

Well. I just looked this up. Apparently vg Carl tweeted to Sundance that they should do a halo collabo, perhaps this “sit down” was about that? Keep your eyes peeled.

Well Microsoft are invested in the COD tournament, it wouldn’t make sense for them to invest in a Halo tournament while its still on going. I think once this is done with they might look towards Halo because at the end of the day the agreement with -Yoink!- is with them and not 343i.
AGL are doing a great job keeping the scene alive and I think once CSR is out on Monday you will slowly see numbers increased. 343i are listening and I think they have learned from the mistakes, they are now able to fine tune weapons without a patch which is awesome. So I think with the ranks, correct weapon balancing and maybe more competitive maps we might see more interest from the community again and hopefully big money prizes 
But gotta remember if they’re isn’t a population there wont be interest to run cash prize tournaments for them

Yea i getcha. I really do hope Halo can make a turnaround. It was cool seeing the competitive scene on the rise a few years back

Yea you would think they would push their own game instead of a 3rd party 1. It doesn’t make sense to me
It sucks to see CoD a game that take little to no skill have a competition like this. The Halo 2/3 MLG days were the best.
Oh man the good old days. It would’ve been cool to see what would become of it if Halo would keep going strong. Dont get me wrong i like that Microsoft is airing this on the dashboard but i still feel it should be Halo that leads it (yea i am a biased halo fan ;))

I feel like MLG might give H4 a small chance to comeback if not then they’ll probly give H5 a chance. It’ll be interesting to see if AGL can gain popularity or -Yoink!- hosting another h4 event

I concur. I learned my lesson from there recent tournament…Don’t waste time, and it was a joke. You had those who played nearly 24/7 to hit the top and cheaters and you had those who “tried” to win, yet they still get beaten. There were a lot of things wrong with VG. Hopefully they won’t have a tournament like that ever again.
Seen the Ford Raptor was given to winner but I don’t know of any other prize winner who actually got a prize.
So i signed up for that -Yoink!- gaming tournaments app for xbox, Halos not even on it… lololol
