Hi, I was excited for the Halo 4 for MCC on PC, but I get a black screen with no audio on mission launch in campaign or spartan ops, after the loading screen. Halo CE, H2, ODST, Reach, H3 are all working fine, this is a problem specific to Halo 4 alone. I tried doing steam -> Verify Integrity of files, removed the multiplayer selection, deleted %userprofile%\appdata\locallow\mcc folder, tried alt+enter, alt+tab as suggested by a few older threads online, but to no avail. Is this a known issue, anyone else also facing this on Halo 4 alone ?
I’m having similar issues. When I first tried to start the campaign, it crashed on the cutscene. Now it won’t even start, it just boots me back to the main menu when I try to start the game.

I don’t know how to fix either. I’ve tried the alt + enter, deleting the MCC folder, changing my settings, and using the steam local file verification. None of it works.

The problem appears to be prevalent for many, but after thinking for a bit I remembered that it may be the computer itself. I know at the very beginning when Halo MCC released, I had to change my “Microsoft C++ visual redistributable” (sorry for the bad name, I am not extremely technical) to a new version. So it may be something on the PC seeing as gameplay exists (meaning people are able to play).

I downloaded the latest 2015-2019 redist update and now it gets stuck even sooner for me, during the loading screen itself lol. 
Either way I think any required software on the user’s side should be automatically installed by the game launcher (i.e. Steam or Microsoft Store), but I guess if they rushed the launch of Halo 4 they could have missed some stuff.
Halo 4 is giving a ridiculous error of missing content when I select the language in Portuguese, when will they fix this ridiculous error? because in the beta i played in portuguese and xbox one too, now on steam you don’t have the mental capacity to fix it? I really bought this game, I paid for it to play in Portuguese and that’s my right, so fix it because there are many players who are not playing because of this game problem, because I have to change the language just to play a game and totally ridiculous

The amount of bugs on release is quite nuts. I don’t know how it got like this, I would have thought that they would have noticed that problem, especially since there is a large community of people from different countries across the globe that speak Portuguese. Oh well.
Same problem here. Tried all the suggested fixes to no avail. Disappointing…

Hey, if you are active, mind telling me which graphics card you are using? The amount of GB in the graphics card could affect it, and the global bugs list says that all Intel graphics cards cause the gameplay to not be visible.
I actually have an Intel card myself, saw the bug now in the bug list, thanks for pointing it out! I hope they can fix it though, all the other games work, even with updated graphics.

I think they have to fix it, I’ve played even more demanding games by lowering the resolution so it shouldn’t be technically impossible, besides with Halo’s popularity there must be many more people in the same boat as us

I fixed it and all I did was install a new graphics driver
