I know that they said there will be a some type of system to tell trueskill other than 1-50 and arena. I havent been on the forums for a long time and im wondering have they annouced it yet for Halo4?

I hope it’s not because they think we’ll be disappointed with what they have planned

He always comes across as dismissive and resentful of the competitive/ranked community.
I’m not sure if it is intentional, since i’ve read that 343 have had MLG players in to test H4 and stuff like that, but Frankie seems to always disregard ‘ranked’ players or questions about ranking.

It as been CONFIRMED multiple times by Frankie, Bulletins and other 343i people that the will be some sort of Ranking system ALONGSIDE the EXP system yet to be revealed (different from both 1-50 and Arena).
So, no it’s not like Reach without The Arena.

Can’t say I blame him for coming across that way

This is what i’m thinking. Also there was/is speculation that your TS(1-50) will be visible only to you, like it is in Halo Wars. Seeing others will probaly have to be seen thru means of Waypoint and or the HC site.

Most of that said community has complained about every minor and major thing they have done with Halo 4, this will probably be no different, the reason I don’t blame him is because of this.

Actually, there’s still no confirmation if Flag dropping is aviable or not in Custom Games.
So, we don’t know yet if we can Re-create a Classic Halo Experience (in CTF) so your point is invalid.
I agree that the fact that 343i is not giving us so much infos on important topics such as these is an insult for the fans though.

Debatable and presumptuous, but still ultimately irrelevant. It’s still a personal prejudice and no sort of personal view held by any member of 343 should stop them from doing their job.
It’s like saying a Microsoft tech support worker shouldn’t have to deal with people that prefer Apple on the basis that they disagree with Apple fans.
