I rarely post things on forums so therefore I am mostly unaware of the ‘’rules’’. Maybe a petition wasn’t the word I was looking for, rather a movement, but the fact is that halo in the series is more appealing because of the uniqueness of being the only FPS with a true skill ranking system.

I knew for a fact that people are going to vote against it because having an Experience points is main stream throughout the video gaming industry. But as a hardcore gamer I wanna compete. Whether it’s competing on Gamebattles, in mlg or just matchmaking I want to see where I stand against the rest of the players in the world.
Rank playlists without an actual rank is completely limited. Gears of war has a ‘rank’ playlist, but ranks you by the amount of points you have. So theoricically, a player that dedicates most time is the highest ranked player, which is completely idiotic. All I want is to see where I stand in the halo community with a number 1-50 next to my gamertag. Then people can bicker about who is the best 50 by k/d w/l or whatever they want.

Keep the XP playlists but add true skill ranking as well. I want these posts to catch the attention of 343 studios and enough gamers that want what I want. Hopefully it will make it happen.

I really don’t see why any people are going to be opposed to this, not like I am asking for rank only, I want the option and if you don’t wanna play it move to social.

All of this has already been decided and implemented into the game. So it really doesn’t matter what I respond with. OT: I would love ranked/social playlist. That’s what I want, but if 343i has decided otherwise then that’s that. Nothing can be done about it now.

There’s some sort of skill-based ranking system, we just don’t know anything about it yet. Just be patient.

1-50 isn’t coming back because all the casuals would get upset.

Lets face it, there will NOT be 1-50, lets just hope it’s not invisible like frankie wants.

343 has shown interest of the interest of their consumers, so if the community wanted it i would be optimisic they would implement a ranking system. i dont care if its 1-50 1-100 or the bs that bungie came up with in reach. I dont see why casuals would be even remotely upset, if you dont wanna play ranked, dont play ranked lol

There will be some rank system, but it may be just as bad as the arena. Have fun with that non-casuals.
