So what type of trash talking do you expect to be going around upon H4’s release? I personally know that I will be doing at least some trashing talking. Most of it will be directed towards the type of people that would make a party of nine 5 stars generals all with similar gamertags in H3 then go to BTB.
I’m actually going to make a conscious effort to be nice, and keep trash talking to a bare minimum… I’ve been a -Yoink- ever since Halo 2 lol.
The usual “you suck, get out of your mom’s basement.” sort of trash talking. Someone actually told me that once, and I laughed cuz I’ve never even seen a basement in my life.
I haven’t trash talked since xbox live parties were added, which was what 2-3 years ago? I could trash talk if I wanted to, but I’m usually in a party anyway.
I did that a couple of times, except I wasn’t on a 5 star I was on a Gen grade 2. It was funny going into btb with 8 50’s. OT: As for trash talk I just say GG (win or lose) until someone on the other team starts to whine, then I just leave the lobby.
My favorite trash talking is the obligatory “GG.” I may talk my trash during the game, but once it’s done and I’m no longer facing that opponent, they can be a friend again.

My trash talking will be none at all. I don’t find it very mature nor respective of others, no matter what they do.
I’m not going to trash talk and if people try it with me I wont reply to it.

I personally think 99% of the trash talk in online video games are more immature than tea-bagging ever was… People aren’t even creative anymore. It’s all ‘your mom’ and ‘you’re gay’ jokes. Which is why I Party Chat most of the time. If someone sends hate mail, I’m more than happy to type out witty remarks that usually upset them. Kids be so fragile, it’s easy to break them hahahaha.
It isn’t a Halo game unless my inbox is full of hatemail.
I dont mean to be rude but why does is there a thread about what trash talk do we think we will hear or even why discuss what trash talk we will be saying to others. Why make a thread, whats the point in this?

you gotta be careful with the little kids. they’ll play on xbox 24/7. They’ll want to challenge you, then you get embarrassed just because they get more playtime than the older gamers.

Don’t trash talk and ignore those that do. Be classy.
My version of trash talk is asking the enemy team to do the konga with me or asking them to put down there weapons and have a tea party.
This usually causes one of three results:
They ignore me.
They tell me to shut the hell up and play the game.
Or konga time.
Community in general was at one time a bit more respectful, Halo 2 days everyone just about used Mics as well, and it was more for strategy than trash talking opponents/eachother.
I remember I played a match of blackops and these two little kids were acting all tuff saying that I had mods and such. Well anyways the one kid was like meet me over in the middle building unless your a little -Yoink-. I air striked the top of the building and killed both the kids. The two kids later sent me lots of messages telling me to get a life lol.
Moral of the story only idiot little kids that play CoD trash talk.
