Microsoft confirmed Halo 4 will be their main showcase at e3, Call of Duty will be less of the highlight this year and this could hopefully mean more gamers will become aware of how epic the Halo games are, the last time this happend was the year of Halo 3’s release, it was the most anticipated and hyped game of that year and many people were looking forward to the release, i hope that Halo 4 can do this again, i really hope Halo 4 will have that New and popular feel Halo 3 did, hopefully e3 will secure that. Black ops 2 doesn’t look all that special, i hear cod fans themselves are not looking forward to this one, i have mixed opinions too.
I don’t really like the idea of a Black Ops II. Is stupid because the whole black ops thing was back in the past around the 60s,the story was completely finished in the first game the antagonist were all defeated and you had won the war, now it’s 2025 and they have all these vehicles that obviously have been copied from other great games in some ways. And the story is about the enemy stealing them vehicles? Doesn’t sound like a great story line. I think the only reason that they are calling it Black Ops 2 is because one of the old characters is still alive, i do understand there will be flashbacks to the 80’s but still, the black ops storyline was finished, The fact that it’s even futuristic tells me that treyarch have finally run out of ideas for a plot, i’m not saying they can’t make a future shooter, it’s just the fact that they are making one shows how milked out the franchise really is. Also my opinion is that Treyarch is pushing the futuristic game is because of Halo 4. It seems Sci-fi has been the main genre this year, That’s just my opinion…

Halo 4 will dominate E3. This is what most people going are probably going to see. Nintendo will probably be quiet as a tomb, Sony will have a few people, Microsoft will be jam packed with people.
Plus, Microsoft is rumoured to unveil the new Xbox as well, that should be very interesting.

Halo will never be CoD, and CoD will never be Halo. The people posting the comments are the trolls, pay no attention to them.
Halo dominated the early days of Xbox and Xbox 360, but after Halo 3 the emense success Activision had with CoD 4 and WaW it led to extreme Cod advertising which has made it the most popular fps since.
My reaction to a new CoD game: Oh, ANOTHER CoD game. I wonder what they’ve changed from the last failure.
My reaction to a new Halo game: Ideas, a bit of nostalgia and possibilities for the the future come to mind, and I’m drooling at the mouth for more info.

why? so people who enjoy the series can be upset? so that the developers who are trying to change the series lose all the work they have done? halo is my main game but you have to think about other people who really do enjoy that game.

Halo is far from underrated,it just lost some steam with the COD craze. More than likely it won’t ever sit back on top unless they make you feel all powerful and make everyone be able to feel like they are good at the game. (Which I hope never happens, keep Halo skillful)
