It looks like Halo 4 is going to dominate the interwebs this year.

Maybe gonna breack a record, they are still 5 and a half months to go, and my pre order am gonna make is on two months, and i think for th at time is going to go up five times more
On consoles maybe, but when you include PC that title belongs to Diablo 3. That being said, Halo 4 has the most buzz right now out of any other game other than “The Last of Us”, Naughty Dog’s new PS3 game so we’ll see.
Its going to be a big deal and im pumped …

Once you add in the European sales though Black Ops definitely surpasses it. I just hope that Halo 4 is truly a great game this time to finally bring it back to number 1.

Unlikely that it will be since Black Ops 2 and Assassin’s Creed 3 are both multiplatform as sell like crazy on all platforms.
Preorders =/= sales.

Assassin’s Creed has more preorders (X360 + PS3). And CoD tends to have a lot of non-preorder sales due to its casual appeal. Though I certainly hope H4 is the most popular; the bigger the community, the better.
Halo 4 is definitely stirring a lot of buzz. I don’t wanna put down other games, but it does make me a little happy to see CoD take 8th place for a change. Assassin’s Creed looks pretty awesome too.

Dont think black ops gonna be good this year, its not changing, it just have new mission of campaings, and the only good this is zombies, thats what happen with game that make games so much just cause they want cash

I have no doubt that CoD will outsell Halo overall, but I’m willing to bet that Halo will outsell it on Xbox. Halo can’t compete with CoD because CoD also sells on PS3 and Wii, but this year Halo might be able to hold its own on its home territory.
Since that preorder data is from the 2nd of June, I can’t wait to see the data for the week ending June 9th! E3 should generate a massive boost in Halo 4 preorders (obviously other games too, but Halo 4 was probably the star of E3 this year).
I think Halo 4 would be the most popular game on the 360 and that AC3 and BO2 could have more trouble selling on the 360 and i also think Halo 4 would win GOTY and Best Multiplayer like it has for the other Halo games. This game has innovation, Stunning graphics and great looking gameplay.
The more awards the game wins before launch, the more it will get on launch day, and then the more it will get after launch.

This is true. But I still think it’ll be 2012’s best Xbox 360 seller.
Maybe for sales and short term players, but long term I am unsure. I don’t think it will collapse as much as Reach did, but I think Halo 4’s new casual nature will see it lose players in a similar manner as they slowly get bored and go back to cod.
