So 343 have obviously announced that they are going to release a title update in February. This TU will be a crucial point for a large number of Halo 4 gamers. It could really win a lot of people back or drive many away for good.
343 need to show they have been listening to the community and have stated that they will be communicating more with us so…
What is going to be in the Title Update?!
I know 343 holds the position that they do not release information on Title updates because they dont want existing bugs and glitches to be exploited before they are fixed in the TU. Fair enough. So is 343 saying that all the TU will do is fix some bugs and glitches?!
If there are gameplay changes and balancing issues that are going to be addressed then why dont they tell us? They cant hide behind the above mentioned reason for gameplay changes, rebalancing etc.
If 343 is serious about communicating with us then put your money where your mouth is and tell us what the TU will incorporate!
And before any one posts it: yes I know BS Angel released a bulletin detailing which spartan ops, specialisations etc are being released in Feb, but thats not what Im talking about. I dont care about any of that, I would like the game fixed, otherwise I wont be playing them anyway.
Yea I totally agree! They have had enough time now to sort thier -Yoink- out. But I wouldnt get my hopes up, I expect the TU will just be bugs, glitches and maybe a working fileshare if they push the boat Out. I doubt they will touch gameplay issues.

BS Angel posted in another thread saying that the TU specs would be posted after the TU is released…
An administrator posted about why they don’t release details until it’s been released. He highlighted that 343 didn’t want people to exploit the bugs they’re trying to fix.

Third… I haven’t played Halo 4 in a month, and I’ve probably played more BO2, which I don’t even own, and I haven’t liked or bough a CoD game in 3 years. Thanks for ruining my favourite shooter 343. Don’t get it right in this TU and you’ll be my new most hated.
I say that in a way that addresses the development studio directly, but they communicate the bare minimum and still give about as much community interaction as a brick wall.

The wont touch it because there aren’t any issues at the moment.

If there are any gameplay issues they could be holding off on releasing details because they want to release the changelog altogether, and or some of what people want are not actually issues and wont be address which will cause people to complain more.
If they don’t fix the game. I won’t ever even play online. Hell, I will probably return it. With the current state of balancing they have now, there should not be any custom loadouts. Think about Valhalla?Ragnorok WITHOUT the DMR or Lightrifle. I think that would be so much more fun. AND WHY DO I SPAWN WITH ONLY ONE PULSE GRENADE? WTF!

oh you mean the gameplay is totally balanced with the DMR and the starting shotgun pistol? Yea those don’t provide gameplay issues in the slightest because god forbid if something is OP you can’t complain about it because you can use it too…
I don’t think most people have thought of this, but what if they break more things with TU1 than fix it lol im not sure, just a thought.
Like they put in 2 DLC playlists, and remove SWAT in order to make room for that 2nd DLC playlist. I’m not sure, most of bsangel’s blogs are about Spartan Ops, I dont really think anyone cares about SpOps the majority want to know about matchmaking to be honest.
