I was watching the first opening cutscene to Halo 4 and noticed that the chief or other spartans have the newest version of the spartan II’s armor. Why don’t they have the older CE/Reach armor? In the cutscene where Halsey introduces john to cortana, why is wearing the 4 armor, he should definitely be wearing CE armor. Also in one of the trailers for 4 there is a flashback to John suiting up for one of the first times and he is wearing the CE armor? So whats the deal with this, huh? let me know what you think.
That flash back didn’t take place at one time period.
Maybe it was a production mistake or the makers were too lazy to make the Spartan II’s armor the MARK VI
It might be worth noting that the SPARTAN IIs did get given the same Mark VI armour that the Chief wears. But for the most part I’m glad they showed the Mark VI, the Mark V looks ghastly in halo 4, my opinion of course.
But you’re assuming a lot. It doesn’t state anywhere in halo 4 that any of the flashbacks are “the first time this happened”. I suspect that Halsey giving Cortana to John is actually that incident during Halo:First Strike before they return to Earth, but you are right, if that’s the case he should be wearing Mark V. The others, like that “suiting up” incident… Well, chief can’t wear his armour all the time, you know?
