Right, I’ve just watched all of the live Halo Fest feed and these are my thoughts:
-At the end of the concept art video we see what looks similar to the description of a Precursor, therefore my prediction is that ‘The Last Precursor’ will be the main enemy in the newly named ‘Reclaimer Trilogy’ and will likely use the surrounding Forerunner technology to impede the chief.
-It also looks quite clear that the game will be at least partly set in a Shield World which has not been infested with the Flood (There are birds visible in one of the pictures and the whole place looks quite green and healthy).
-There is a shot where the ‘Portal’ from the Halo 4 teaser trailer seems to be collecting ship debris from various origin (not just Human) so perhaps there is a reason for this (research for the forerunners assuming they are still actually alive or it may just be an automated system).
-There is also sightings of Pelicans in flight around floating forerunner objects and what seems to be the shapes of UNSC soldiers in another picture. So the UNSC could play a part in the new trilogy (therefore they must have found Cortana’s distress beacon or have been led there by another source).
However all of this is just concept art so it may not be a reliable source of information.

Watching this after reading Cryptum they took the cover art from it. I think we are heading back to the forerunner capital city where Bias and the others were fighting. Perhaps that creature or thing at the end of the trailer was "The Timeless One’/“The Prisoner”. But after reading Cryptum im under the impression he could be a gravemind and he dose have a flood like shriek.

Well in the halo 4 trailer at E3 on the monitor you saw a Ring like structure possible the missing Halo? Also at one point you see purple ships are thos Covi ships? i always put purple things= Covi.
I do agree you about the Pelicans they look like them. But then it deppends on what the date is from when they get sucked in by the shield world. Since Cortana said it would take years to find them.

You mean on the Primordium cover? I think those are Forerunner ships, though they do have a bulbous design like most covenant spacecraft so I may be wrong.

Don’t forget the Covenant tech is modeled on Forerunner, so it may well be that the ‘bulbousness’ assosciated with the Covenant was infact taken from the Forerunner?
I’m fine with everything showed so far except that red thingy at the end of the latest Halo 4 trailer and its music.
It looks like they are trying to ripoff Mass Effect, and I don’t like that idea.
That thing looked exactly like one of the memories from the beacon in Mass Effect, E-X-A-C-T-L-Y.
And the same with the music, this just doesn’t look good…
