I know what your all thinking “Wait til the game comes out”, but just listen to my theory of how the plot might be.
We know that MC lived and that he was floating toward a planet with some sort of entrance or portal. We also know that this story probably won’t have anything to do with Onyx (this is a halo book reference). If you have read the new Forerunner Saga you would also learn Spoiler Alert Guilty Spark lived but has a severely damaged memory unit.
I think it would go as this, MC’s ship finally makes to the planet and goes into the light. When through he comes into contact with marines fighting each other from what I have come to believe is the ship UNSC Infinity link (A ship made from all savaged tech from the Covenant and Forerunner stations) that was hijacked by Guilty Spark to go look for the Librarian, now I don’t know where the Captive comes in link but it would be the new darker threat.
This how I think the game will begin. Maybe some Elites found the coordinates while trying to recover their religion. IDK. But if you have read the books then you might or might not think this to be a possibility.

I will comment on the highlighted sections in order. This does contain some spoilers.
1.Guilty Spark didn’t live, he died. The monitor was Chakas, the original A.I. that Guilty Spark originated from.
2.The Infinity is only made up of human and Forerunner tech, no Covenant tech is used.
3.The Captive doesn’t come in anywhere because he’s dead. The Precursors would be the darker threat. For people who don’t know, the Captive was not a Precursor, he was a flood gravemind. The Precursors created the flood.
4.Impossible for elites to find those coordinates, they have very few ships and none of them could make that vast distance of a trip in a resonable amount of time. It would take decades. It wouldn’t take the Infinity that long because of the Forerunner tech it is fitted with, it could make the trip in hours.
> this dosnt make much sense, you have just thrown a few things in there with out any logical reason, why would marines be fighting each other?
He probably saw the video by Halo4Follower about the animation video found of some marine with powers fighting other marines. That video is old and has been confirmed fake.

That’s the only thing I find wrong in this. Read the Halopedian article. Why wouldn’t the Infinity utilize Covenant equipment when the UNSC has used it before for the MJOLNIR Armor’s shielding?

Halopedia has not updated all information. A lot is still outdated. Don’t use it for a source. The Infinity was built in the sole purpose of utilizing all Forerunner tech that has been retrieved, not to use Covenant tech. Why would they keep Covenant tech on a ship full of Forerunner tech? It wouldn’t make any sense to keep the Covenant tech which is inferior to Forerunner tech. The Infinity project was started near the end of the war and in Glasslands Parangosky describes the project that it was going to use human and Forerunner tech. Nowhere does she mention it using Covenant tech.
My theory is that Master Chief finds some of the same races that have been throughout the Halo franchise on that shield world. Those races, Brutes, Elites and such would not be the Covenant though. Each would have evolved in the shield world independent of anything going on outside of it.
I think it’s quite possible to see these races in Halo 4, just not in the same roles as we’re used to.
Perhaps a Monitor keeps track of the races and never allows them to evolve technologically past a certain point, nor have a population beyond a certain number. That monitor would use Sentinels to keep this in check.
So these races would have lived with this way of living for so long. However, when Master Chief comes along, they are now made aware of the outside universe. Some of those in the races start to get angry by what they now see as imprisonment and fight along side Chief against the Forerunner tech, mostly Sentinels.
This new Alliance of races could then play a part in the unification of the outside races. Not as a new Covenant mind you, but a new galactic order where races are more equal and free to roam.
They would all battle a common enemy or enemies. Those being Forerunners, Flood, and possibly Precursors.

Your theory is flaud. The only race that are in the shield worlds are Huragok. No other race live inside of the shield worlds. The only living creature that is inside of a shield world that is not a Huragok is the Librarian
My Theory is at the end of Halo 6 it’ll all be revealed as a dream, none of it really took place… Haha, man that would be such a slap in the face. Made me giggle though with all these theories about the story, with no actual proof to base it off of.

Those would either be the survivors of those ships or races kept their by the Forerunners.

tru dat!
i’m thinking that, after the Sangheili & Humanity made peace, 343i had a problem to reintroduce them as enemies in the new trilogy (they are a fan-favourite, aren’t they? i remember how people were glad that H:Reach once again hat elites as enemies), so they came up with a Sangheili - civil war to introduce an Elite-Faction opposing the human-friendly Arbiter.
the question remains: how do they get to the Forerunner planet? probably in a similar fashion to the UNSC - i’ve heard there’s not only ex-Covenant, but also Marine figurines in the H4 toyline (presented at the NY toy fair) and there was a presentation of a H4 warthog.
usually, in Halo games, if there’s a Warthog, there’s Marines too.
i’m really looking forward to when all pieces finally fall into their place.

I have a feeling we haven’t finished seeing some of the covenant species. I don’t know if they’ll be enemies, though.
The only Halo 4 figure released was Master Chief. The rest were “Halo Universe” or “Micro OPS.”

Well, then I guess my eyes must have fooled me when I played Halo Wars.

Guilty Spark did die. A duplicate was made at an unknown period of time. Chakas IS Guilty Spark. Spark-II lives, but doesn’t know the Chief.
This is only possible if Spark-II actually hijacked the Infinity. For all we know, it could just be a ONI ship.

Okay. Please read this Mr ATCG:
The Guilty Spark that we all know of is the duplicate. It says so in the final chapter of Primordium. I think that’s why our 343 Guilty Spark had never had a hold on the Domain and why he “volunteered” to be on a Halo ring. I believe that they saved Chakas’ memory because he held valuable information. They wouldn’t have just wiped his memory clean and thrown him into the Halo program.
