Any word yet about theatre mode moving back the way it was in Halo 3 or any enhancements to be made to the existing one?
Nothing much if any on the specifics of theater mode.

OT: A functioning skip-forward button or high-speed fast-forward button would be nice. Nothing I’ve seen has mentioned theater unfortunately.
I just hope it’s like Halo 3’s Theater.
I just a rewind button for films from all game modes.

Agreed Sharing a video with friend in the same game was one of the main reasons I preferred it to the Reach theatre.
A rewind button and the ability to watch with 4 people again. That’s my wishlist.

Theatre was added in Halo 3.
Hopefully it’s not another step down from Halo 3’s awesome Theater. I dislike whoever it was at Bungie that made the decision to take out party-viewing.

OT: Theatre needs an overhaul, but essentially, party viewing needs to make a return.
I heard somewhere that it was being refined. Hopefully completely upgraded with a tonne of new features. Think about the possibilities with screenshot, video, map share, etc. 343i could create a Halo social network!
Oh, in regards to the two above me who mentioned party-viewing: DO WANT AS WELL.
… so long as it doesn’t take ten -Yoink!- minutes of a black screen before I can watch the video with my friends…

Party viewing and better fastfoward/rewind controls would be great.
All of the above features mentioned would be essential. I also would like it to where I can skip ahead to a part I want in the film without having to fast forward to it. Also more robust editing tools like adding slow motion, Copy and Paste, Fade in and out, etc.
