I just spent loads of time beating Halo 4 solo on legendary and it won’t give me my achievement. On the menu it says I’ve completed every mission, solo, on legendary (and the prologue and epilogue), but the achievement’s progress bar is stuck at 75%. I’ve already completed Halo 2 and 3 on legendary and those achievements unlocked just fine.
Come on, 343! You said I could have Helioskrill if I beat all the campaigns! I want my 'chievement! I need it!
Oh, and can someone tell me if I have to beat each campaign on solo only, or can I complete some missions on coop and some solo and still get the achievements?
According to Halo Waypoint you still need to complete Composer and Midnight on any difficulty.
Also you say you’ve beaten it on Solo Legendary but most of your completions are in Co-op. This could be 343’s fault as there is currently a bug where if you Save and Quit during the Halo 4 campaign, resuming will mark it as a Co-op campaign. You would need to do all missions but Infinity and Reclaimer again, solo.

It may say that but it’s a bug. I’ve only played one mission in Halo 4 on co-op and I just redid it solo today. It took me forever to finish Halo 4 on Legendary and I’m not about to redo it just because of a buggy stat tracker. If I view my stats in game it says I’ve finished all of them on solo, and one on co-op
Uhg! This crap frustrates me to no end! Nothing should be easier for a game developer to make than a stat tracker and yet that’s one of the game’s most broken features. 343! You guys owe me an achievement!
I had the same problem - missions were being completed Solo Legendary and showing that on the menu on my XBone but Halo Waypoint was showing Co-Op. I had to disable all skulls (I had enabled IWHBYD to hear extra dialogue) and complete the levels in one sitting (I was saving mid mission and coming back a couple of hours later to complete some of them because, you know, real life gets in the way of playing video games).
I cannot guarantee it will work for you but that’s how my problem resolved itself - disable skulls, complete in one sitting.
I think the completion of a level in one sitting is where you will find the answer.
Try doing a mission in a single sitting. Do not save and quit. I think there is a bug in which doing this voids the achievement.

I just didn’t enable any skulls because I didn’t want to find out something like that would happen after spending all my time playing. Never enabled any while playing, and I just do not want to go through Halo 4 all over again. That game is freakin’ hard! I can understand why 343 might be reluctant to hand out the legendary achievement, but this is just inexcusable. The only reason I don’t have it is because of their broken game. They should at least give it to me based on the fact that I finished it solo-legendary on 360.
Bummer - there’s so many issues with this game. Fortunately after replaying it resolved itself (but I had to play Composer 3 times!). Yes some of the H4 levels become quite tediously hard! I wish you luck.
yeah see iv completed all missions on legendary my achievement list on xbox says so and so does halo mcc but it is not unlocking

Mine’ stuck at 87%. But I’ve done all the missions but I don’t have the achievement for completing shutdown
