Mostly because every time I check these lovely forums, it’s a fiery flamewar of hate and disgust. It’s a game, people. Life goes on. You want changes? Ask for them in a civil, non-murderous fashion, and then take some time away from the threads to go TRY and enjoy yourself.
You can enjoy this perfectly good (Not perfect, but not as awful as some people make it out to be) game by playing with people, or finding a gaming niche that suits you. Having trouble in objective? Try slayer. Carrying your team in slayer? Hop on over to Spartan Ops to blow off some steam, and try some more objective. Wash, rinse, repeat.
If you have an issue with weapons being overpowered, or maybe they’re despawning too quickly? Why not try some pure, unadulterated Team Slayer Pro? You won’t see, or worry, about any of that. You’re all in the same boat of DMR/Magnum, and BR/Magnum.
You may have noticed during your time on Halo 4 that you’ve lost to certain weapons while holding a BR, or a Carbine, or even a DMR. You may have also noticed that when you tried using that same “Cheap weapon” that you lost to, and then you couldn’t win with it to save your life. Literally. The reason you lost isn’t because something’s broken, it’s because you made a simple mistake, and want to blame everyone and their mother, except for you and your mother, because she’s a saint.
Don’t hate the game because you’re not getting your way. Give 343i time to TAKE IN all of the complaints, and all of the polite suggestions as well, and continue to realize that they ARE trying. They’re not trying to lose the core fanbase, and they know that they’re going to have to make changes before they lose any more people to Call of Duty, which, in my mind, is more broken than any Halo has ever been.
