HALO 4 technology gone backwards??

why do all the weapons and vehicles seem like downgrades from Halo 3??

did 343 forget they went from a prequel to a sequel??

In terms of vehicle health I agree.

In what way do they seem weaker? The DMR is probably the strongest starting gun in the franchise short of the CE pistol which was more of a bug.

Weapons? no. Vehicles? Yes.

Boltshot and DMR are pretty OP. The AR is a lot stronger than reach’s and so are other weapons that I don’t feel like detailing.

Vehicles are a joke now though, too many plasma nades and Oh-so perfect DMRs everywhere.

hitting people barely pops their shield 9/10 times.
turret overheats after 1 kill.

fast, no boost
fits through most doorways.
guns stun enemies and break shields pretty fast.

clunky, slow reacting POSs
boost that cant even kill a person on impact sometimes.
guns do jack -Yoink-.

Plasma Rifle
Halo CE - 3
breaks shields in half an overheat.
deals moderate/low damage to flesh/armor.

utter crap, assault rifle does more shield damage in half a clip than storm rifle in 1 overheat.

I was going to express shock but now I see where you’re coming from. I agree about vehicles.

Indeed, the Ghost and Banshee have lost their base maneuverability, but when boosting, it’s still much better than in previous games. Have you tried changing direction while boosting in the H2/H3 Ghost? It’s ineffective.

As for the Hog, it was fast, heavy, and sturdy in CE. It lost it’s speed in H2 (to make room for boost like how dual wielding rendered most of the sandbox useless), lost it’s weight in H3, and lost it’s health in Reach. Now it’s slower, lighter, and vulnerable. But can we really blame Halo 4 for this? The only thing Halo 4 did was worsen it’s engine noise.

Lastly, the tanks. The Wraith is fine. But the Scorpion is nearly superseded by the Wraith. It’s main advantage in the previous games was sheer firepower but the projectile drop makes it less useful. I actually prefer the Wraith.

yea but for spartan ops and single player??

they shuda done what they did with anniversary… have the 1337 stuff in campaigns and the crappy reach stuff in multiplayer.
