This is more of a message for 343. I am seeing a lot of speculation on these forums that the Team Doubles playlist won’t be in Halo 4. There is no evidence mind you. Will you guys put this to rest soon? I am assuming Doubles will be in Halo 4. If it is not, there will be no reason for me to pick up the game. I know you are going to make a truckload of cash either way, but you are going to lose many long-time fans of Halo if Doubles isn’t shipped with the game. And if it is for sure in the game, I hope to goodness it isn’t a mess of forge maps like Halo Reach, although I would still purchase.
what? i didn’t hear anything about doubles.
I would hope doubles is in… granted the maps all seem pretty big, doubles is my most played playlist I believe

I ONLY play the doubles playlist with a long-time partner. I just don’t play anything else. I don’t think that’s ridiculous at all.
Doubles needs more attention! It has always been my favorite playlist since Halo 2. When they removed Arena Doubles from Reach, I was utterly disappointed.

Nahhh that’s kind of ridiculous to be honest. Being limited to playing one playlist as well as basing your whole purchase of the game if it has said playlist or not.
Yeah that’s a shame if that dictates your decision on buying the game or not. Esp. With all the extra content (epic campaign, spec ops, etc.) blows my mind all those episodes will be free, part of an amazing package.
But on topic…I would assume doubles will be in, it’s been apart of every halo game. I wouldn’t worry too much.

Would you still buy the game if campaign was not in it? No. Team Doubles is as important to him as campaign is to you. So I do not think it is ridiculous at all.
Team Doubles is my favourite playlist, too. I would be very disappointed if it weren’t in the game. But if it’s in and if there is no -Yoinking!- jetpack in this playlist I’m a happy little Spartan (and decent maps of course…).
Not buying the game just because of the exclusion of one gametype seems a little brash, no?
Doubles is a common favorite. A lot of people like playing with friends and not relying on strangers. It’s difficult for many people to get 3 other friends of equal skill together all the time.
I was really hoping for ranked doubles. Now I just hope it is still in the game.

The difference is there’s way more too the game than just one playlist on MM. I doubt most people here will only play the campaign and the campaign ONLY. I don’t like the comparison.

He’s just trying to express his concerns in a threatening manner.
OT: Playlists can easily updated and will be updated quite frequently. Team Doubles will definitely be in there at some time, I’m certain of that. You’ve got nothing to worry about.
And if all you care about is team doubles, I recommend that you continue playing Halo 3 and/or Halo Reach, there won’t be much of a difference.

It is a very accurate comparison, you just don’t think so because his particular concern does not effect you.

Don’t tell someone what game to play. You wouldn’t like it if I told you to go play Spec Ops on CoD because it is basically the same thing as Spartan Ops.

343 doesn’t tailor make tiny maps for team doubles. In a way it’s kinda pointless now adays to make maps that small. You should be thankful that forge is around so you can get decent 2v2 maps.
