343i must have sucked at all other halo games bc this game takes away all skill and makes it simple to just pick up a controller and kill someone…wait I mean get points for a kill LAME! I spawn and kill the other team before I die the spawn time is so fast. I don’t understand what they tried to do to the halo series besides make it generic and just another shooter…never thought I would want to go back to an older halo.
You kids are funny.

cliche troll is cliche…and a troll.
Yeah. Spawn and kill. Just like every other shooter.
Yeah I played every single Halo game, and I am enjoying this a lot.
Here we go again…
If anything this halo takes more skill then others because power weapons spawn at random, the only way i see an unfair advantage is with the ordinance drops and even then it is easy to get around people with power weapons if you are good. I’m just not having as much fun with halo 4 as I did with 3, ODST, and Reach.

there was a thread that went through why Halo 4 takes the least amount of skill, and map control is one of the reasons it doesnt.
plus dat DMR magnetism…

Necro bumped!
I agree that there are undoubtedly lots of “standard FPS” or “Call of Duty” elements in Halo 4, but you should try to provide 343i with constructive feedback rather than pessimistic complaints.

On the contrary, I’d venture to say power weapons spawning makes the game significantly less skill-based and more luck-based. I’m often neck-and-neck and the outcome of the game is determined by where the power weapon randomly spawns. For example, my team was controlling top mid on Haven, and the opposing team was pushing from mohawk. We were tied at ~580 and playing super carefully when, suddenly, an incineration cannon spawns on mohawk. They immediately capitalize and we lose the game.
