Halo 4 Suggestions to 343

Halo is one of the most successful series of games EVER played. The fact that everyone is balanced and starts with the same weapons was perfect. This whole new idea with custom load outs in my opinion is a terrible idea. People play Halo because it sticks to the bare bones. Many Halo veterans such as myself left Halo Reach because of the armor abilities, bloom, and how it didn’t have that authentic Halo feel.

For Halo 4 i would hope that it would bring back the feel of Halos CE-3, such as the jumping and those beautiful maps that we all know and love. The maps that were stunning such as Last Resort, The Pit, Construct, and all of the many other amazing maps were eye candy and kept the game interesting. In Halo Reach there were few good looking maps due to the fact that most of them were in Forge World, this causes gameplay to seem redundant and players would lose interest much faster. Jumping also should be put back to the way you jump in Halo 3, it just adds to that Halo feel.

Back to custom load outs. Please rethink what kind of reaction you will receive by putting custom load outs in. Custom load outs will destroy the Halo feel completely because the balance between players will be completely ruined. It looks like you’re trying to appeal to you COD and younger fan base. Halo is not COD and its rated M not G. If anything Halo should never look to other games for new features. Halo is one of the founding fathers of XBL multiplayer and the makers of Halo should be setting trends instead of following them.

Bringing back the BR is probably the best thing about this game that I’ve heard so far, i also like the fact that 343 has stated that the maps are purpose based instead of taken out of the campaign.

Bring back the 1-50 ranking system for playlist please. People played Halo 3 stayed strong for 3 years straight for a reason. The 1-50 ranking system gave people a goal, and these goals were not easily accomplished. The ranking system hopefully with be win and skill based. People will play the game more and stick with it to make sure they achieve there goal. Please don’t make it like COD’s wear a 5 year old can level up by just playing the game even when having a 0.2 K/D. Arena in Reach sounded like an excellent idea to bad it was only for 1 playlist that not everyone liked. Halo 3 and 2 provided the rank system for mostly every playlist. In Halo Reach the MLG playlist died because people played MLG to be competitive, when you give no goal to competitive people it like taking water away from a fish.

P.S Please stop catering to noobs

“please stop catering to noobs” Really? Just because someone is new at a game doesn’t mean you should have automatic dominance over them. And I hate people who say that. Guess what, you never played Halo 4 before. When you do you’ll be a noob. Don’t want 343i to cater to you at all?

Maps were uninteresting?
You’ve obviously never played my maps before.
My maps don’t look boring, they’re all very different.
Maybe you or your friends aren’t very good at Forge.

The jump isn’t a big deal, stop focusing on it.

Custom loadouts will not ruin the game’s balance.
Feel free to start an argument with me because I’ll win that argument.

CoD wasn’t the first game to use custom classes.

Most gamers are young.

This I agree with.

1-50 isn’t a diety, don’t act like it is.
I’ve once posted my own ranking system.
I challenged it against the 1-50.
More people like my ranking system…

The term “noob” originated from the word “newby”.
A newby is someone who is new to the game or anything really.
And we’re all Halo 4 noobs.
So you’re basically telling 343 to not listen to anyone…
