It just does get over it.
I disagree fully.
After going back and removing my nostalgia goggles on Halo 3. I’ve found that it being SO slow, SO inconsistent, and SO lacking ambience makes it my least favourite, and I stood by Halo 3 for a long time. The second worst IMO is Reach. Then Halo 4 is in the middle. Halo CE and 2 are hard to decide on, but either or is the best. I can go back and play Halo CE and 2 until the end of time they were amazing, fast, consistent, little to no bs, and very ambient.
That’s it, you’ve convinced me. This post was just so well thought out and persuasive that I now realize that Halo 4 sucks. I mean, who could argue with that logic?
Seriously, if you’re going to say Halo 4 sucks at least give a reason!

I’m sorry, but there isn’t one thing about Reach that is better than Halo 4. Not one.
And I’d rather be able to RELY on my BR to 4 shot than play Halo 3 any day.
