Halo 4 Strafing Perfection

I just started adding a long strafe to one side with backwards movement and short strafes. I noticed a big increase in my 1v1 battles and i was even able to hold my own against 2v1 situations. This was only in battles where i either had a br or LR while the others had a br or dmr and this was in team throwdown.

I know that its nothing new, but i just wanted to share it.

Does anybody else have some good strategies to add or great strafing moments they’d like to share?

Your superior skill is getting you kills. Good, I hate when people say anyone can win.

I agree. I will admit that it is a lot easier because of the bullet magnetism and aim assist, but i have learned to find ways around that. I do hope that the next game is made to be a little bit more challenging

I dont really focus on my strafe too much. I crouch jumpshot a lot though.

I like to just move to one side ,not back and forth, also running through rocks can make your opponent go googly eyed.

Adding half circle to switch directions vs left/right helps as well. Makes it less of delay to switch directions

Left-Right-Left-Pause-Left…never fails.

I have been running into a few people that add crouching to their strafe. When done right (I have not tried) it seems pretty effective.

something unpredictable.

I agree with this. I use it in other games, I need to start applying it here in Halo 4.
