Master Chief: We will be discovering more of a human side of Chief, being he will have emotions, and feel fear in the losing of possibly his only friend.
Cortana: At the final year of Cortana’s Lifespan, she is going through what AI’s and Humans like to call Rampancy, something alot of the fans are happy about considering “This Dumb Bit*h” is about to die, but in my opinion is I think it will be Emotionally Heart Breaking if this Character were to pass on to AI Heaven, or Hell.
Story: We’ve heard that the Story Line will progress sporadically considering our hero’s Master Chief and Cortana will need to make a decision we will likely not agree with, involving perhaps death, or something even worse… it also means the ending of the game should NOT be spoiled by anyone (I know someone did that with Reach) before the games actual release. This Games Cinematics and Soundtrack itself tell a whole new story of how our Hero’s will find an all new enemy and might meet there match.
Hopes: Master Chief (Steve Downes Voice Actor) is my Child Hood Hero as a Voice Actor myself, him being my Child Hood Hero as the Master Chief is a big thing for me, I nearly cried as I seen him explode at the end of Halo 3, and 2 years later to find out he survived made me extremely happy… knowing now that there is a chance… we may not win this fight makes me extremely sketchy about this game… so sketchy I am nervous to see the end… my Hero, Spartan 117 Petty Officer, John should NOT die in this game just because I am not the only one to have a Hero from Halo… let alone a video game… Sorry if I get emotional… but seeing him die… would just break my spirit… seeing him lose however… is entirely different.

Downes himself wanted some kind of hero death for the chief in Halo 6 but well he’s “just” a voice actor. Guess we have to wait and see… but he’s definitely not going to die in Halo 4. That wouldn’t make any sense at all.

I do realize that… but honestly… coming from a die hard fan, someone who has literally read every book knows every detail, and well I see Master Chief laying down with requiem destroyed int the background and Cortana crying on a pedestal, what comes to mind?
